Advanced Green Technologies expands its presence in North Carolina from regional to statewide, marked by a newly financed 2.3 mega-watt system installation, the largest solar installation in the state. Although a costly installation, approximately $14 million, North Carolina holds one of the most promising solar markets due to a thirty-five percent tax credit, mandated under the Renewable Energy Tax Credit allowing for lucrative returns on the system within just a few years. Energy produced from this system will be sold to the local North Carolina utility company, Progress Energy.

With a new office opening in Charlotte, AGT hopes to capitalize on these rewarding State incentives. AGT already has three new projects in the works; North Hills Mall in Raleigh, BSH Home Appliances in New Bern, and Port of MooreHead City.
